Job description

Social Media Coordinator

This is a full-time, on site role based out of Salt Lake City.

Summit Sotheby's International Realty is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Social Media Coordinator to support our high-performing sales advisors. This key team member will act as a strategic liaison between advisors and our in-house marketing team, ensuring brand-aligned, sophisticated social media execution across platforms. • Exceptional client service mindset with the ability to proactively manage relationships, build trust and navigate varying personalities and communication styles.
  • Maintain consistent communication via email, chat, phone and scheduled check-ins.
  • Translate advisor goals into actionable social media strategies and content plans.
  • Educate advisors on social media best practices, platform updates and ad performance insights.

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Develop custom monthly social media content calendars tailored to advisor brand voice and business goals.
  • Coordinate with creative team when necessary for graphic design and video assets.
  • Adapt Summit Sotheby's International Realty's global branding and corporate profiles to each advisor’s personal market presence.
  • Maintain organized workflows, deadlines, approvals and content pipelines across multiple advisor accounts.

Social Media Execution & Content Creation

  • Create, edit and optimize elevated short-form social content using a mix of iPhone. footage, advisor-provided assets, listing media, lifestyle photography and video from the in-house visual media team.
  • Develop strong social-first content concepts, including hooks, shot lists, trending formats, voiceover ideas, text overlays, carousel structures and short-form video storylines.
  • Edit video content in tools such as CapCut, Instagram Edits, and other editing platforms, with attention to pacing, transitions, captions, audio, visual hierarchy and platform best practices.
  • Identify, adapt and execute relevant social media trends in a way that feels aligned with the advisor’s brand, market, audience and luxury real estate positioning.
  • Conduct recurring content capture sessions with advisors, including planning concepts, filming iPhone content, coaching on-camera presence and identifying opportunities for storytelling, education, lifestyle and listing-driven content.
  • Write, edit and refine captions that support advisor brand voice, storytelling, engagement and clear calls to action.
  • Monitor audience engagement and respond to comments as needed on behalf of advisors through white-glove social media support.

Advertising & Boosted Posts

  • Build and manage paid social campaigns (boosted posts and Meta Ads) per agent or listing strategy.
  • Allocate advisor-approved budgets strategically.
  • Track and analyze performance data; provide concise reporting and strategic recommendations.
  • Stay current with social platform changes, algorithm shifts and ad policy updates.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the social media team, designers, photographers, videographers and leadership to align marketing timelines.
  • Contribute to content libraries and shared resources.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years in a social media or digital content role; real estate or luxury brand experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Capcut, and photo/video editing tools.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a focus on tone, clarity and luxury positioning.
  • Experience filming and editing short-form video content for Instagram Reels, Stories and Facebook.
  • Experience developing and managing personal brands for professionals, entrepreneurs, executives, or real estate advisors preferred.
  • Ability to interpret social media performance metrics and translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Knowledge of paid advertising platforms, targeting strategy and performance tracking.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships with accountability for service quality, responsiveness, strategic execution and business objectives, not solely follower growth or viral performance.
  • Ability to manage multiple advisor accounts with professionalism, warmth and discretion.

Success in this role:

  • Maintaining strong advisor satisfaction and retention.
  • Delivering consistent, high quality, on-brand content across assigned accounts.
