Job description
DESCRIPTION:
Event Supervisors will serve as the on-site manager for select Gopher Spaces special events.
Oversee the use of the facility during the event and serve as the point-person for all event staff and needs. Supervisory duties include
- Coordinate with Special Events staff to become well-informed with details for scheduled events
- Communicate effectively with all groups involved in the successful execution of the event (security, parking, catering, operations, tour guides, etc.)
- Work alongside facility operations staff to determine additional needs prior to the start of the event, assure proper set-up, security and access needs
- Handle customer questions and concerns in a professional and upbeat manner
- Become familiar with facility policies/procedures and safety protocols
- Provide post-event reports
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must display strong interpersonal and leadership ability
- Able to make decisions quickly, follow protocols/procedures and handle adverse situations professionally
- Detail-oriented, organized and a proactive problem-solver
- Ability to carry/lift up to 30 lbs., climb stairs
- Available to work nights and weekends
- High School Diploma
- Prior supervisory and event management experience preferred

Pay Range: $17.00 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
