As the Network Administrator Team Lead, you will provide leadership and vision while supervising the company's IT infrastructure, including the replacement, setup, maintenance, and security of all network devices. Set up, configure, and support internal and/or external networks, hardware, applications, security, and configurations. Provide direction to network team members, troubleshoot system performance, and define/maintain service level agreement with the company.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Supervise and facilitate the daily coverage, workload, and workflow among Network team members including performing the day-to-day tasks required.

  • Enterprise Network administration duties include configuring, installing, and maintaining network hardware and infrastructure, VoIP phones, printers, firewalls, switches, routers, Wi-Fi and access points, battery backups and cabling.

  • Install new hardware and software upgrades for all layered products after presenting a plan for user testing and migration to the new product level.

  • Monitor system performance and proposes software updates or parameter changes to enhance system performance; develop a plan for testing, implementing, and measuring the results of system performance.

  • Work with hardware and software customer support service organizations as required solving problems.

  • Build relationships with outside vendors and negotiate services.

  • Responsible for WAN contracts and technology deployments and upgrades for both domestic and international telecom.

  • Participate in the development of the IT Operations budget.

  • Work with employees to resolve hardware/software issues, spec IT requirements for services and meet expected IT service levels and standards.

  • Attend training sessions, read instructional manuals, and read industry periodicals to maintain a current understanding of the various operating systems and maintained software.

  • Travel to various locations domestic and international as needed.

  • Occasionally work during non-business hours to perform maintenance and installations.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience required.

  • 1-2 years of relevant leadership experience required.

  • 4 Year / Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent years of job experience required.

  • LAN/WAN design and installation experience preferred.

  • Cisco Route/Switch experience preferred.

  • Juniper Network Configuration experience preferred.

  • IT security experience preferred.

  • Network monitoring experience preferred.

  • Wireless technology implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting experience preferred.

  • Advanced troubleshooting experience preferred.

  • MPLS and BGP experience preferred.

  • DNS and DHCP working knowledge experience preferred.

  • Previous experience in system performance monitoring and fine-tuning experience preferred.
