Here's Where You Come In

As an Account Executive you will provide professional, courteous account management and broking services to assigned clients, having the primary responsibility for account retention. Working alongside Producers and Account Managers, the Account Executive shall be principally responsible for overseeing management of assigned accounts, including proactive consultation, insurance program design, carrier marketing, collaboration with colleagues throughout HUB, and negotiation of coverage terms and conditions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage andretainbook of businessat$1,000,000+.

  • Abilityto manage/mentor a team of Associate Account Managers and Account Managers

  • Lead and integrate HUB client team & resources with account by executing HUB's value proposition.

  • Produce organic growth through new, profitable accounts, as well as cross-selling& accountrounding existingaccounts.

  • Develop depth of knowledge in specific industry relevant to theclient's youservice and activelyparticipatein industry best practice groups,boardsand associations, etc.

  • Timely delivery of client services with the HUB Commercial Lines Service Platform

  • Develop strong relationships withcarriers and lead in developing each account's underwriting story.

  • Assess competitive markets and develop a marketing strategy with team

  • Review contracts for insurance requirements and explain exposures to clients as needed.

  • Mustmaintainoneor more professionaldesignations(CPCU, ARM, LIC, etc.)designation.

  • Participation in weekly team meetingsand organization wide development meetings when scheduled.

  • Represent HUB in the community as well as the insurance industry by activelyparticipatingin at least one association whilemaintainingrelationships with at least one center of influence.

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS in a relevant field preferred.

  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience; agency experience preferred.

  • Experience working in the middle market with accounts averaging $30k in revenue and above and managing a book of business

  • Experience leadingteams.

  • Active Licenses: Property and Casualtyrequired; Life, Accident, Health, and HMO desired.

  • Attainment ofadvancedprofessional designation desired (e.g., ARM, CIC, CPCU).

  • Ability to travel 20% of the time to outer offices and clients, with occasional overnight travelrequired.

  • Strong financial acumen.

  • Big picture thinking to addressclientconcerns and develop the best path forward,utilizingavailable data.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to find a balance between a variety of job duties and projects.

  • Healthy interpersonal skills to clearly communicate with bothclients and colleagues

  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills.

  • Competent use of standard office tools/software (e.g., MS Office).

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
