Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Millwrights for projects located in the Maryville, TN area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $32/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Millwright and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

  • Set, place, and align industrial equipment and machinery
  • Perform heavy rigging using chain falls, come-alongs hoists, forklifts and cranes
  • Read blueprints, layout drawings, and installation specifications
  • Install, level, and anchor machinery to precise tolerances
  • Assemble and disassemble industrial equipment and components
  • Assist with conveyor systems, production equipment, and mechanical installs
  • Work safely around active industrial environments and tight deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Minimum 4 years of millwright experience
  • Strong background in rigging and equipment setting
  • Experience operating around cranes and heavy equipment preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
  • Basic millwright tools
  • OSHA 10 is a plus
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
