International Programs Coordinator

Baltimore, MD area Hybrid


We are working with a well-established organization to identify an International Programs Coordinator to join its team. This position is ideal for an experienced coordinator who enjoys managing projects, working with a variety of stakeholders, and keeping detailed programs and events organized from start to finish.


The person in this role will support a variety of educational and professional initiatives involving domestic and international partners. Strong organization, communication, follow-through, and attention to detail are essential.


What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Coordinate multiple educational programs and professional initiatives from planning through completion
  • Work with internal teams, leadership, subject matter experts, speakers, and external partners to keep projects on schedule
  • Assist with developing agendas, coordinating speakers, preparing materials, and managing program details
  • Handle registration, program documentation, communications, and other logistical requirements
  • Coordinate details for large meetings, conferences, and special events
  • Provide onsite coordination and support during major organizational events
  • Prepare and maintain budgets, track expenses, and assist with financial reconciliation
  • Maintain organized records and documentation for assigned programs
  • Prepare meeting notes, reports, and summaries as needed
  • Assist with agreements, contracts, and other administrative documentation
  • Work collaboratively across departments to ensure programs and projects are executed successfully
  • Take on additional projects and responsibilities as needed


A Key Part of This Role: Travel Coordination

Professional experience booking international business travel is required.

The successful candidate will have experience coordinating travel arrangements such as flights, hotels, transportation, and itineraries for executives, speakers, employees, or other business travelers.

Some domestic travel may be required for conferences, annual meetings, or other organizational events.

  • 2 to 3+ years of professional experience in program coordination, event coordination, professional education, nonprofit organizations, associations, or a related field
  • Previous professional experience arranging international travel is required
  • Experience coordinating educational programs or professional events preferred
  • Healthcare, medical education, nonprofit, or association experience is a plus
  • Experience working with budgets and expense reconciliation
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Foreign language skills are a plus
