## Non-Invasive or Invasive/Non-Interventional Cardiologist | Jacksonville, FLSouthside Jacksonville — Established Private Cardiology & Peripheral Vascular Practice## Position Details* Full-time, permanent position* Employment Type: Private practice — single specialty cardiology and peripheral vascular disease* Setting: Inpatient and outpatient — office, office-based cath lab/ASC, and hospital* After-hours: Mostly phone calls only* ASC under construction — anticipated opening mid-2027## Practice OverviewSeeking a BC/BE Non-Invasive or Invasive/Non-Interventional Cardiologist to join a high-volume, well-established private practice on Jacksonville's Southside:* Group founded September 2015 — 8 physicians including 5 interventionalists, 1 EP, and 2 non-invasive cardiologists* Main office located across the street from an approximately 450-bed hospital* Office consults, hospital rounding, and reading diagnostic tests* Nuclear boards preferred* Ability to recognize both cardiology and peripheral vascular issues — essential given the practice's large peripheral vascular patient population* 7 ARNPs and well-trained medical assistants on staff* Full ancillary services including nuclear medicine (SPECT and cardiac PET), 128-slice cardiac CT with AI, echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, pacer checks, and remote ECG monitoring* 6 registered techs (RVT and RDMS) supporting a very busy venous program* Venous services include thermal ablations (laser and radiofrequency), VenaSeal, phlebectomy, and sclerotherapy* Office-based cath lab converting to an ASC in 2025–26 — new ASC with 2 procedure rooms opening mid-2027* Diverse referral base of 100+ referral sources with a large established patient population* 100% of patients admitted through hospitalists or PCPs — cardiologists serve as consultants only* Several sub-offices for clinic days — typically full days with no additional duties* Hospital has 6 labs (4 cardiac/peripheral, 1–2 EP labs) and a hybrid room supporting TAVR, MitraClip, PFO closure, WATCHMAN, lead extraction, and advanced ablations## Compensation & Benefits* Base salary guarantee* Productivity bonus* Paid relocation* CME allowance and paid CME time* PTO* Health insurance* Professional dues covered* Medical malpractice including tail contribution* Cell phone and laptop provided## Required Qualifications* MD or DO — Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease* Non-invasive or invasive/non-interventional background — required* Nuclear boards — preferred* Ability to recognize cardiology and peripheral vascular issues — essential* Florida medical license or willingness to obtain## About the Community – Jacksonville, Florida* Florida's largest city by area — perfect blend of coastal living and big-city amenities* Over 20 miles of pristine beaches and the scenic St. Johns River winding through the city* Year-round sunshine ideal for boating, fishing, golfing, and outdoor recreation* Vibrant dining scene, professional sports teams, and thriving arts and music festivals* Family-friendly neighborhoods with excellent schools throughout the metro area* No state income tax in Florida* Lower cost of living compared to many major U.S. metros* Jacksonville International Airport offering convenient domestic and international connections
