Strong analytical skills, knowledge of foreign affairs, and expertise in intelligence methodologies are essential for this role.

To thrive as an International Intelligence Analyst, you need strong analytical abilities, proficiency in data collection and foreign languages, and typically a degree in international relations, security studies, or a related field. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and partner organizations is routine, so effective communication and the ability to synthesize diverse perspectives are essential. Additionally, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to strict security protocols can be demanding, but these aspects ensure the integrity and value of the intelligence work.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical and analytic information clearly to both specialist and non-specialist audiences

  • Prior experience collaborating in interagency or multi-disciplinary environments, coordinating with intelligence community partners, DoW, DHS, or law enforcement agencies.

  • Strong critical thinking, writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex technical topics.
