Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to identify their unique mental health concerns and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based individual therapy using effective modalities tailored to each clientโ€™s specific needs to promote their personal growth and well-being.
  • Collaborate with clients to establish therapeutic goals and routinely monitor their progress, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary.
  • Offer teletherapy services to enhance accessibility for clients who prefer virtual sessions or have physical limitations.
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans to meet ethical and regulatory standards, reflecting our commitment to professionalism.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops and training, to stay informed on emerging practices and enhance clinical skills.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with individuals seeking assistance for various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and may present with a range of experiences and needs, allowing you to apply your expertise in a fulfilling and impactful manner.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A current and valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A Masterโ€™s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster a safe and therapeutic relationship with clients.
  • Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach toward clients.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle caseloads effectively and efficiently.
Preferred Experience

Preferred candidates will have experience working in outpatient mental health settings, knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Experience in teletherapy, especially related to connecting with clients remotely, is highly valued.
