Summary:
  • Prepare quotes and shipping rates for customers and overseas agents including negotiating rates with carriers including airlines and agents and owning the process start to finish from quotes through final billing
  • Coordinate dispatch with agents, shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, clearing agents, warehouse, etc. Coordinate with nearest Gateways (Chicago, Miami, etc)
  • Prepare shipping documentation including import or export documentation including HAWBs, MAWBs, AEDs, manifests, shipping instructions, bills of lading, certificate of origin etc.
  • Coordinate routing of import or export bookings including with air or ocean carriers, strong focus on Air Export
  • Coordinate shipments to ensure meeting customer requirements including pre-processing and delivery of freight.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, internal sales team, freight forwarders and international carriers including air and ocean and customs brokers.

Qualifications:
  • International Logistics experience including Air Export.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment with strong customer service skills.
