Job description

We are looking for an Electrical Controls Engineer to take charge of designing and delivering turnkey conveyor control systems for major projects. You’ll work 'hands-on' with a talented team of engineers, subcontractors, and project managers to bring complex automation systems to life.
What You’ll Do:

  • Turn customer requirements into smart, efficient control system designs

  • Create hardware/software drawings, PLC code, and operational configs

  • Oversee panel builds, wiring, and subcontractor work

  • Collaborate with mechanical teams to ensure seamless integration

  • Support installs, debug, and start-up on-site (domestic & international)

  • Drive projects from concept through completion

  • Regular travel to customer sites 

Skills & Experience Required:

  • BS in Electrical/Controls Engineering (or similar)

  • Experience working on GM projects including conveyor systems (GM certification highly desirable)

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD & PLC control software

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving & communication skills

  • Comfortable in industrial plant environments & leading others

  • Valid driver’s license & passport (or ability to get one)
