Profile Senior Electrical Engineer

Do you have experience designing electrical systems for complex oil & gas or offshore energy projects? Can you take technical responsibility for assigned scopes and coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams?

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and deliver safe, reliable, and sustainable electrical engineering solutions for complex energy projects.

Tasks & responsibilities:

  • Design and engineer electrical solutions in line with project specifications, contractual requirements, international codes, industry standards, and regulations.
  • Select and optimise engineering methods, procedures, and technical solutions within the assigned scope of work.
  • Prepare, review, and manage electrical engineering deliverables, calculations, specifications, technical documents, and design input.
  • Work across concept development, detailed design, systems engineering, package engineering, and site engineering activities.
  • Proactively plan and complete engineering activities within agreed schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.
  • Ensure proper interfaces between electrical systems and other engineering disciplines, project teams, vendors, subcontractors, and third parties.
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to support design, procurement, manufacturing, technical reviews, and package delivery.
  • Ensure the assigned scope is delivered in accordance with contractual requirements, internal procedures, and project standards.
  • Apply lessons learned and assess the impact of changes within and across project system boundaries.
  • Support improvements in reliability, operability, safety, and sustainability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Act as Package Engineer for assigned equipment or systems when required, with technical responsibility for design, procurement, and manufacturing.
  • Lead engineers on assigned scopes of work and act as Discipline Lead when required.
Requirements Senior Electrical Engineer
  • Engineering degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 5—10 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, preferably within offshore or complex energy projects.
  • Strong experience with electrical engineering design, calculations, analysis, and technical documentation.
  • Experience with concept development, detailed design, systems engineering, package engineering, and site engineering.
  • Good knowledge of international codes, industry standards, regulations, and electrical engineering best practices.
  • Experience coordinating with vendors, subcontractors, third parties, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of reliability, operability, safety, and sustainability in electrical design.
  • Experience with package engineering, procurement support, manufacturing follow-up, or vendor documentation review is considered an advantage.
  • Able to plan, prioritise, and deliver engineering activities within agreed timeframes and budgets.
  • Capable of managing technical interfaces and understanding the impact of design change across project systems.
  • Leadership potential or experience guiding engineers on assigned scopes of work.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, accurate, and comfortable working in a complex international project environment.
