Those in international tax at PwC will provide advice and guidance to clients on structuring their global tax positions. Your work will involve analysing international tax laws and regulations to develop strategies that optimise tax efficiency and minimise risks for multinational businesses.

As an International Tax Services Managerunlockyour potential andembracethe chance to drive meaningful outcomesthat'llelevate your career. Your role will include, butisn'tlimited to:

  • Assistwith complex cross border restructuring transactions for multinational groups headquartered in Canada and Canadian groups of foreign multinational groups.

  • Support clients as they navigate new Canadian tax legislation, such as Pillar Two, Excessive Interest and Financing Expense Limitation (EIFEL) rules, and anti-hybrid mismatch rules, andassistwith associated computations.

  • Lead the review of surplus computations, foreign accrual property income and excluded property computations, and T1134 information reporting for taxpayers with foreign affiliate groups.

  • Engage with affiliated PwC firms in foreignjurisdictionsto help clients navigate foreign tax laws.

  • Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations.

  • Move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail.

  • Anticipate stakeholder needs, and develop and discuss potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realizes they arerequired.

  • Contribute to an environment where people and technology thrive together toaccomplishmore than they could apart.

The salary range for this position is $84,700 - $134,700. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
