The Opportunity:
CACI, Inc.'s Corporate Enterprise Services Cyber Security Team is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer. As a member of the Cyber Security Team you will work to create and maintain a safe operating environment for CACI's users by protecting network boundaries, designing hardened computer and network devices and providing security services to protect highly sensitive data. The Cyber Security Team works with a broad range of devices and technologies and actively monitors systems for attacks and intrusions. The Cyber Security Team uses data aggregation and analysis techniques and tools to provide valuable insight into the security posture of CACI's infrastructure. Additionally, we also work within CACI and third parties to ensure that all technologies are designed with security in mind, follow industry best practices and are compliant with applicable guidelines.
Responsibilities:
  • Work in a team-centric environment to support defensive and offensive cybersecurity initiatives
  • Conduct white, gray, or black-box security assessments and produce detailed findings and recommendations
  • Draft and maintain technical documentation, including technical manuals, installation guides, procedures, and incident response plans
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across all business levels
  • Deliver clear presentations and written/oral communication on technical topics

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, or Computer Engineering and at least 7 years of relevant experience
  • GPEN, GWAPT, OSCP, or OSWA preferred

Demonstrated intermediate-level knowledge in at least three of the following:
  • Red Team / Offensive Security
  • Cyber Incident Response
  • Operating system internals and hardening (Windows, Linux, macOS)
  • OSINT data analysis
  • Secure development processes and practices
  • Vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and remediation
  • Risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Development of security tools, automation, or frameworks
  • Strong Linux experience focused on protecting networks, devices, programs, and data
  • Working knowledge of Splunk for log analysis

Desired:
  • Secret or Top-Secret clearance (desired but not required)
  • Programming experience in Python, JavaScript, Go, or .NET
  • CISSP or CCSP
