Job description

WATERS has been a family-owned business for over 80 years (currently in its 4th generation), opening our doors in 1938. We are a dealer for International Trucks and IC School Buses (Diamond Edge Certified), Collins Buses, Maintainer Service Trucks/Bodies, Jerr-Dan Wreckers/Carriers, Idealease Truck Rental/Leasing, several different Trailer Lines, HuntVe UTVs, Ranch King Hunting Blinds, and all the parts and services that go with them.  We also have several contracts for plant and facilities maintenance. WATERS has 8 locations around Mississippi and as we continue to go, we're looking to add dedicated team members to become a part of our family!
 
Reporting to the Body Shop Manager, this person will work with trucks and buses by repairing and refinishing the framework.

  • Sand body areas to be painted and cover bumpers, windows, and trim with masking tape or paper to protect them from the paint.
  • Fit and weld replacement parts into place
  • Prime and paint repaired surfaces, using paint spray guns and sand blaster.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • MUST own complete set of basic tools
