Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$30.32 - $39.42 / hour

Summary

The Internal Auditor is responsible for providing an independent, objective assurance and consulting function that adds value and improves Lee Healths operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the financial and operational practices within the not-for-profit healthcare organization. The Internal Auditor will evaluate the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes to safeguard assets, verify the reliability of financial reporting, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and improve organizational efficiency.

Requirements

Education:Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field required. Master's preferred.

Experience:Minimum of 3 years of experience in internal auditing or equivalent operational experience , with a strong preference for experience in the healthcare or not- for-profit sector.

Certification:Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Healthcare Internal Audit Professional (CHIAP) preferred.

License:N/A

Other:In-depth knowledge of auditing standards, healthcare regulations, and financial management principles in a not-for- profit environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. High ethical standards, integrity, and confidentiality.
