Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician Silver Spring, MD

Step into an established private practice serving the community for over 30 years. We are seeking an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join our team as we prepare for a senior partner's retirement. This role offers an ultra-stable, bilingual support team and an exceptional quality of life in Silver Spring.

  • Favorable Outpatient Schedule: Work a 4.5-day week (32 patient-facing hours) with a half-day every Friday. Hours are MTh 8:00 AM 4:00 PM and Fridays 8:00 AM 12:00 PM, with no weekends.
  • Incredible Staff Longevity: Benefit from a dedicated 1:1 MA and an administrative team with deep tenure. Your staff actively manages chart prep, prescription refills, and your inbox to minimize your clerical burden.
  • No Buy-In Partnership Track: Become a partner based strictly on "time served" with zero financial buy-in required, giving you a clear stake in the practice's long-term success.
  • Paced, Quality Patient Care: Manage a stable adult and geriatric panel (ages 18+) with a focus on chronic care and wellness. Appts are 20 minutes, extending to 30 minutes for complex cases. Athena EMR is optimized and AI Scribe friendly.
  • Light Phone Call Only: Shared rotation that is strictly phone-based with low weekly volume. Most inquiries are pre-filtered by our after-hours answering service.

Qualifications:
  • MD or DO with Board Certification/Eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

  • Spanish language proficiency is preferred (though all support staff are fully bilingual).
  • State licensure and board certification are required.
