NorthBay Health is seeking an Internal Medicine (IM) Primary Care Physician to join our growing outpatient primary care team in beautiful Napa, CA.
At NorthBay Health s Center for Primary Care, we provide comprehensive, patient-centered care through a network of experienced family medicine, internal medicine, and pediatric providers. Our physicians are supported by compassionate clinical teams and seamless access to a broad network of specialists, ensuring patients receive coordinated, high-quality care close to home.

Ideally situated between the San Francisco Bay Area, Napa Valley, and Sacramento, NorthBay Health offers physicians the opportunity to practice in one of Northern California s most desirable regions, surrounded by world-class dining, outdoor recreation, wine country, and vibrant communities.
Practice Highlights
  • Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • Practice Setting: 100% Outpatient
  • Patient Volume: Approximately 18 patients per day
  • Call Coverage: Shared and balanced call rotation across providers and locations
  • Provider Support: Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
  • Resources: Access to state-of-the-art technology, clinical tools, and specialty support
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive primary care services for adult patients
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, imaging studies, and laboratory results
  • Monitor treatment outcomes, medication adherence, and potential medication-related complications
  • Prescribe medications, therapies, immunizations, and preventive care services
  • Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, preventive care, and wellness strategies
  • Coordinate care and refer patients to specialists as appropriate
  • Collaborate effectively with APPs and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Participate in practice and hospital committees, sharing responsibilities equitably with physician colleagues
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of clinical excellence
Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
  • Current or eligible California medical license
  • Experience in a primary care setting preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
Compensation & Incentives
  • Income Guarantee: $354,548 (Years 1- 2)
  • Sign-on Bonus up to $50,000
  • Relocation Assistance for qualified candidates up to $20,000
  • Retention Bonus: $30,000 (Years 3 - 5)
  • CME/Dues up to $8,000 annually
