Job Purpose

The Internal Wholesaler Associate provides a highly motivated individual with an opportunity to learn about Jackson's products, sales and marketing. This is achieved by successfully completing Jackson's product training, working on projects entailing: Investment research, building sales presentations, territory management, and creating analysis spreadsheets. The Internal Wholesaler Associate role is designed to help an individual develop the skills necessary to become an Internal Wholesaler or RIA Internal Consultant within approximately 2-3 months after being hired.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Completes training and develops essential knowledge and proficiency with regards to Jackson products.

  • Learns Jackson's systems, sales model, and products.

  • Makes proactive outbound sales calls with existing and prospective representatives to strengthen and establish relationships and uncover new business opportunities.

  • Investigates sales opportunities through proactive efforts, territory data analysis and impeccable follow up.

  • Assists advisors with illustrations, accurate product information and marketing materials.

  • Works closely with the Sales Desk Manager to assist in day-to-day activities.

  • Provides product information and sales support to Jackson agents and prospects.

  • Utilizes Jackson databases to create and maintain representative profile levels and data on current and proposed sales activity.

  • Conducts weekly plug-ins with other internal wholesalers or RIA Internal Consultants as development to aid in conversations with advisors.

  • Actively participates in opportunities for training and continued professional-development offered by Jackson.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.

  • Prior Financial Services experience. required.

  • Successful completion of Jackson's Internal Annuity Wholesaler training program (10-12 weeks) required.

  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) required.

  • FINRA Series 6 or 7, FINRA Series 63, State Insurance License required.
