As the organization evolves, Internal Audit continues to leverage data analytics, artificial intelligence, and automation to enhance audit effectiveness, generate deeper insights, and drive efficiency across the company. Our team works closely with business and technology partners to identify risks, evaluate controls, and support informed decision-making.

  • Contribute to the development of recommendations and insights that can be presented to management and stakeholders.
  • Participate in efforts to automate audit activities and enhance existing audit processes. Approximately 70% of the role's future focus is expected to involve automation and technology-enabled auditing.
  • Build relationships across the organization while learning about key business functions, associated risks, and internal controls.
  • Engage in continuous learning related to emerging technologies, AI applications, and data analytics within the audit profession.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Management, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Expected graduation date of December 2027 - May 2028.
  • Interest in data analytics, artificial intelligence, automation, risk management, or auditing.
  • Experience with or exposure to data analysis tools such as Power BI, Python, SQL, or similar technologies is preferred.
  • Understanding of business processes, technology, and data-driven decision-making is a plus.

Keys to Success in this Role:

  • Strong curiosity and a desire to understand how businesses, technology, and risk management intersect.
  • Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to ask thoughtful questions and proactively research solutions.
  • Interest in leveraging AI and automation to improve business processes and outcomes.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data-rich environments.
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies, tools, and concepts.
