Position Summary

The Marketing Intern will support UAA's marketing team across the full marketing funnel, gaining hands on experience in field marketing, growth and lifecycle marketing, social media, and cross-channel strategy and analytics. This role will rotate across the same functional areas as UAA's core marketing organization, giving the intern real exposure to how a multi brand marketing platform runs day to day.

This is a 360 degree marketing internship. The intern will take on increasing responsibility over time, from supporting existing workstreams to leading smaller projects and pulling together data for reporting and insights. The intern may also assist with a broad range of projects across the UAA portfolio based on evolving business and practice needs.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, this is an ideal opportunity for a motivated student or early career marketer who is highly organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and interested in building practical experience across the full marketing discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Field Marketing & Practice Support  (40%)

•      Provide on site support for practice events, promotional initiatives, photo and video shoots, provider content days, and community partnerships

•      Assist with event preparation, setup, execution, guest experience, content capture, and post event follow-up

•      Visit designated practices to collect photos, videos, patient approved content, provider updates, and other marketing assets

•      Coordinate and organize marketing materials, promotional signage, collateral, giveaways, and vendor provided items

•      Build familiarity with assigned practice brands, providers, services, audiences, and local marketing priorities

•      Oversee the wrap up and asset organization for at least one event or practice visit per month, with light oversight

Growth & Lifecycle Marketing  (30%)

•      Support CRM campaign builds, including audience segmentation, scheduling, and QA of email and SMS sends

•      Assist with website optimization support, including QA checks on landing pages, provider pages, and offer pages for accuracy, functionality, and brand alignment

•      Help identify and flag opportunities to improve conversion points across the website and CRM journey

•      Support the development and distribution of email, social, website, print, and in practice marketing materials

•      Help proofread marketing materials for accuracy, brand alignment, spelling, dates, pricing, and offer details

•      Assist with A/B test setup and tracking for CRM or website initiatives as directed

Social Media & Content (15%)

•      Assist in capturing high quality photo and short form video content featuring providers, staff, treatments, events, and practice environments

•      Help with basic video editing, graphic creation, caption development, and content scheduling

•      Organize and maintain content libraries, including photos, videos, before and after assets, testimonials, and provider materials

•      Help monitor social media trends and identify relevant content opportunities

•      Support community engagement by monitoring approved comments, tags, local partner activity, and user generated content

•      Ensure all content follows established brand standards, approval processes, patient privacy requirements, and consent protocols

Cross-Channel Strategy, Analytics & Marketing Ops  (15%)

•      Support project coordination between the UAA marketing team, practice leaders, providers, agencies, and vendors

•      Help build and maintain marketing calendars, project trackers, campaign timelines, and practice specific planning documents

•      Assist with calendarization of content, campaigns, and promotions across brands and channels

•      Help pull together performance data across field, lifecycle, and social channels, and support the team in translating that data into clear takeaways and recommendations

•      Support the development of simple reporting summaries covering campaign results, lead information, and practice insights

•      Contribute ideas and research to cross-channel campaign planning, including competitive, market, influencer, vendor, and local partnership research

•      Maintain organized files, shared folders, asset libraries, and project documentation

Qualifications

•      Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Graphic Design, or a related field

•      Interest in marketing strategy, lifecycle and CRM marketing, digital marketing, analytics, content creation, events, beauty, wellness, medical aesthetics, or luxury consumer brands

•      Comfortable working across both digital tools and in person environments, including active practice or event settings

•      Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar), or project management tools (Monday, Asana, Trello, or similar) preferred

•      Comfortable working with basic data and spreadsheets to support reporting and insights

•      Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•      Highly organized, dependable, detail oriented, and prioritize assignments and communicate timelines.

•      Willingness to take initiative while following established brand, approval, and privacy protocols

•      Professional interacting with providers, staff members, patients, vendors, and community partners

•      Ability to travel locally to practices and events as needed

•      Availability for occasional early morning, evening, or weekend events may be required

•      Familiarity with AI enabled marketing tools is a plus
