Position Summary

We are seeking a Frontend Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain modern, accessible, and responsive web applications. The successful candidate will leverage Angular, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Design System components to create exceptional user experiences while ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Build reusable UI components utilizing established Design System standards and components.
  • Translate Figma designs and prototypes into high-quality, production-ready user interfaces.
  • Develop and execute automated UI and end-to-end tests using Selenium and Cypress.
  • Collaborate closely with UX designers, accessibility specialists, and backend developers.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of Design System components.
  • Ensure all frontend implementations meet WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility requirements.
  • Optimize application performance, usability, and responsiveness across browsers and devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve frontend defects and user experience issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards and best practices.
  • Maintain technical documentation related to frontend development and testing activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience developing web applications using Angular and JavaScript.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Experience implementing UI designs from Figma specifications.
  • Experience developing and maintaining automated UI tests using Selenium and Cypress.
  • Understanding of Design Systems and reusable component development.
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 AA.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Python development.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Knowledge of frontend performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience developing enterprise-level web applications.
  • Familiarity with accessibility testing tools and methodologies.
