Job description

The Opportunity

Adobe.com is the front door for millions of customers worldwide. Our Growth and Martech Engineering team ensures every interaction is measured, optimized, and personalized - and you'll be at the center of it!

The Enablement Engineer will be an integral part of this team, responsible for implementing Adobe Experience Cloud solutions across Adobe.com and other key Adobe digital surfaces. This role involves taking ownership of building scalable web data collection and tagging strategies and implementing them using AEP's Data Collection tools, JavaScript, and other supporting tools on a large-scale web platform.

What You'll Do

Ideal candidates use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) to ship faster and improve code quality. You'll partner with marketing, product, and analytics to define tracking requirements and turn them into technical specs; design scalable tagging with Adobe Tags and AEP Web SDK; and build data layers that capture data accurately. You'll align implementations with XDM schemas and business logic, configure AEP (schemas, datasets, identity namespaces, ingestion), and work with QA to validate via AEP Debugger and browser DevTools. You'll also uphold data governance and privacy (GDPR, CCPA), integrate Martech and third-party tools, and provide documentation, training, and support on digital data instrumentation standards.

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years in digital analytics/Martech implementation, working closely with developers on tracking and data pipelines
  • Strong Adobe stack experience: AEP (Web SDK/Alloy.js, Real-Time CDP, XDM), Tags/TMS, Analytics, and Customer Journey Analytics
  • Solid front-end skills (JavaScript, HTML, DOM; React/Angular a plus) with production-quality code, secure coding, and testing practices
  • Expertise in data layer design, governance, and debugging (browser DevTools, AEP Debugger)
  • SQL experience querying analytics data (BigQuery, Snowflake, or AEP Query Service)
  • Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools in daily workflows
  • Strong communicator; effective with technical and non-technical partners

What Sets You Apart

  • Experience with Consent Management Platforms (CMPs), server-side tagging, or integrations with platforms like Snowflake or BigQuery.
  • Adobe certifications in AEP or Analytics.
  • Experience with extensive data pipelines and large-scale data processing tools.
  • Full-stack engineering familiarity and skills (Node.js or equivalent, Database, Front-end, etc.)
