The contractor will utilize web content management tool to implement these updates, ensuring consistency with state-approved templates, navigation structures, and branding guidelines. The work will involve:

  • Conducting a comprehensive inventory of existing content and identifying accessibility gaps, and implementing content updates.
  • Converting documents and pages into formats (e.g., HTML) optimized for accessibility and usability.
  • Applying best practices for semantic markup, ARIA attributes, and responsive design.
  • Performing accessibility validation using state-approved tools and manual testing.
  • Collaborating with staff to confirm accuracy and completeness of converted content.
  • Providing documentation of changes and recommendations for ongoing accessibility compliance.
  • Hands-on experience in web design, web development, and digital accessibility with knowledge of various platforms (e.g., HCL/WCM preferred).
  • Ability to provide examples of web design and development projects that demonstrate technical skills.
  • Proficiency in the HTML programming language.
