Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing weekly supervision to graduate students pursuing clinical licensure or who are currently enrolled in their Master’s program, helping them navigate practical experiences and skill development.
• Delivering high-quality psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families, addressing a variety of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma.
• Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and community resources to create holistic treatment plans tailored to the needs of your clients.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of comprehensive treatment plans, leveraging your experience to ensure best practices are followed.
• Maintaining meticulous and current documentation for all patient interactions to comply with legal and ethical standards while facilitating quality care.
• Staying engaged with the latest research and advancements in psychotherapy, actively pursuing continuing education opportunities to enhance your professional practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse population of clients, encompassing various demographics and presenting a rich array of mental health challenges. You will work with individuals and families, providing tailored interventions that promote resilience and recovery. Your approach will prioritize empowerment and validation, aiding clients in navigating their unique paths toward mental wellness.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• A Master’s Degree in a related field such as Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.
• A valid state license such as LCSW, LCSW-R, LMFT, or LMHC.
• A current professional liability insurance policy.
• At least two years of counseling experience in a mental health setting.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following are preferred to bolster your application:

• Previous supervisory experience or mentorship roles, especially with practicum or intern students.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and best practices in delivering virtual counseling.
• Experience with a variety of therapeutic modalities, enhancing the versatility of your practice.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, with uncapped earnings potential.
