About the Oracle Veteran Internship Program (OVIP):

Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated AI Agent Intern to join Oracle's Supply Chain Applications (SCM) Solution Engineering organization. This intern will work at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Logistics Execution, and Oracle Fusion SCM Applications, helping design, prototype, and demonstrate next-generation AI Agents for Supply Chain.
You will support the development of AI-driven capabilities across Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), Global Trade Management (GTM), Warehouse Management (WMS), Inventory, and SCM Analytics. You'll collaborate with senior Solution Engineers, product experts, and Oracle's AI innovation teams to build proof-of-concepts, demo assets, and internal accelerators that showcase the "Autonomous, Agentic Supply Chain of the Future."
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about AI, optimization, and modern logistics-and wants hands-on experience building intelligent supply chain solutions used by the world's largest organizations.
Key Responsibilities
AI Agent Development & Prototyping
  • Assist in designing and building AI Agents using Oracle AI Services, OCI Generative AI, and Fusion SCM data.
  • Prototype agent workflows for logistics scenarios (e.g., shipment risk detection, exception resolution, trade compliance, warehouse task optimization).
  • Support development of RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) pipelines using Oracle's Agent Studio and Vector Store.
  • Conduct data exploration and create sample datasets for agent testing.

Solution Engineering & Demo Support
  • Build and maintain demo assets for OTM, GTM, WMS, Inventory, and SCM Analytics.
  • Support interactive scenarios illustrating AI-driven logistics (e.g., temperature excursions, carrier delays, customs risks, inbound ETA disruptions).
  • Help create reference architectures, diagrams, and demo scripts.

Research & Analysis
  • Evaluate logistics AI use cases (forecasting, resilience, risk management, optimization).
  • Conduct analysis across leading AI supply chain platforms.
  • Document best practices for designing AI Agents in Oracle SCM.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work with senior SCM SEs across Logistics, Order Management, Inventory, and Manufacturing.
  • Engage with Oracle AI Champions, Applied Technologists, and Product Strategy.
  • Participate in team enablement sessions, conferences/trade shows, and industry-focused prototype work.

Qualifications
Required
  • Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Operations Research, or related field.
  • Strong interest in modern logistics (transportation, warehousing, global trade, inventory).
  • Foundational understanding of AI concepts-LLMs, RAG, embeddings, agents, and automation.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred
  • Knowledge of Oracle Supply Chain Cloud or similar platforms (SAP, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, APIs, or basic scripting.
  • Experience with analytics tools.
  • Coursework or experience in machine learning, forecasting, optimization, or operations research.
  • Understanding of logistics concepts: network design, last mile, freight planning, carrier performance, compliance, and inventory accuracy.

US: Hiring Range in USD from $18.17 to $34.62 per hour; from: $37,800 to $72,000 per annum.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
