About this role:

The Technology Risk Domain Officer operates within Technology Risk Management (TRM), part of Corporate Risk, providing independent secondline oversight across technology domains. The role is part of the Technology Risk Domain Team, which performs domainlevel evaluation and produces evidencebased views of how technology conditions contribute to enterprise risk exposure. The role engages with Technology, including Tech Operations, CIO organizations, to provide challenge and inform riskbased decisions. Outputs from this role support enterprise risk views provided to senior management, risk committees, and regulators.

The Technology Risk Domain Officer (P4) serves as a lead second line oversight for assigned technology domains. The role is responsible for independently identifying and assessing plausible failure modes, evaluating how those failures contribute to technology risk exposure, and providing evidence-based challenge to first line technology teams. The role influences domain-level decisions and contributes to enterprise risk perspectives through cross-domain insight and structured analysis.

In this role you will:

  • Domain Oversight Coverage - Lead second line oversight across assigned technology domains and maintain a current understanding of domain operation and risk conditions.

  • Failure Mode Identification and Assessment - Identify and assess plausible failure modes across prevention, detection, and recovery, including emerging conditions within the domain.

  • Evidence-Based Analysis - Apply observable evidence signals including incidents, service levels, backlog, exceptions, and trends to support risk conclusions.

  • Stakeholder Engagement and Challenge - Engage with technology and platform teams to provide credible, actionable challenge and support risk-informed decision making.

  • Cross-Domain Insight - Identify dependencies and reinforcing conditions across domains and contribute to broader risk themes and patterns.

  • Risk Reporting - Deliver clear and defensible domain-level risk insights to senior management and governance forums.

  • Continuous Monitoring - Maintain an ongoing view of domain conditions, risk signals, and changes in operating environments.

  • Change and Readiness Oversight - Engage in technology and operational changes to assess risk implications and operational readiness.

  • Process and Framework Improvement - Contribute to improvement of monitoring approaches, risk frameworks, and analytical methods within the domain.

  • Team Support and Development - Provide guidance and review for domain officers and analysts to ensure quality, consistency, and sound risk judgment.


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Technology Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience in technology operations, engineering, or infrastructure with understanding of system behavior and dependencies.
  • Strong expertise in technology domains with ability to assess complex risk scenarios and provide informed challenge.
  • Applies data analysis and operational signals to generate insights and support risk decisions.
  • Designs and applies solutions to complex domain-level risk scenarios, incorporating cross-domain considerations.
  • Identifies and prioritizes risk exposure and supports mitigation through actionable insight.
  • Builds strong relationships and influences outcomes with technology partners and stakeholders.
  • Communicates risk insights clearly and effectively to support understanding and decision making.
  • Quality work across complex assignments and supports improvement of domain oversight practices

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$119,000.00 - $206,000.00
