Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Legal Compliance Intern to support our compliance and contracts efforts. This role is ideal for a student interested in government contracting, regulatory compliance, and legal analysis. The intern will play a key role in helping our team understand contract requirements, track regulatory changes, and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable standards.

This position is a remote, 10-hour per week role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review contracts and documentation to identify and compile key requirements and obligations
  • Analyze and document the business and operational impact of contract requirements
  • Develop and maintain a structured list of applicable governing bodies, regulations, and certifications (e.g., FAR, DFARS, CMMC, NIST, etc.)
  • Monitor regulatory updates and ensure internal documentation reflects current compliance requirements
  • Track changes and revisions to contracts, policies, and compliance frameworks
  • Assist in maintaining compliance processes and documentation for audits or assessments
  • Prepare and deliver clear, concise updates to leadership on changes impacting the government contracting landscape


Job Requirements:

  • Actively enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate degree program

  • Interest in government contracting, compliance, or legal/regulatory environments
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with government regulations such as FAR, DFARS, NIST, or CMMC
  • Experience with research, documentation, or policy analysis
