Supply Chain Planning Intern
Salary: $21 -$34/hour. Compensation packages may be higher/lower than what is listed, & will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, education and class level.
  • Job Description: The Supply Chain Planning Intern will assist the Global Supply Chain Planning (GSCP) team in process and tools development related to forecasting, demand planning, S&OP, S&OE, and Order Management. This internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and provides the opportunity to learn end-to-end supply chain planning processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Tools Development: Creating and establishing reports and dashboards on alerts, key performance indicators (KPIs), and supply chain planning metrics using Power BI and/or SQL
  • Process Development: Enhance existing planning workflows and create new workflows to suit evolving business needs, particularly within IBP
  • Planner Support: Work under the guidance of planning team member(s) to:
    • collect, analyze, and interpret sales, production, inventory, and order data to identify trends, outliers, gaps, and provide insights to planners and help solve problems.
    • Assist in monitoring inventory levels against targets, recommend gap closure tactics, and to perform root cause analysis on gaps/shortages.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in supply chain operations.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor's or master's degree program in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Working knowledge of data analysis tools - Power BI, SQL etc.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Familiarity with supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous internship or work experience in supply chain management or a related field is preferred but not required.
