Job description
As a Performance Data Assistant in our P&C Performance department, you will be at the forefront of transforming data into actionable insights.
Your role will involve supporting the P&C Senior Insight Expert in the implementation of sophisticated tools based on data-driven solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize current processes and enhance the decision-making processes.
You will contribute to the transformation of the quarterly Financial Landing Process, enhance the Analytics capabilities of the team, and participate to projects with strong value added.
You will leverage your quantitative techniques and technical skills to develop insightful tools, dashboards and features that will be used to draw finance analytics, study business trends to help to monitor underwriting and financial activities via different dashboards and metrics.

Experience
- First experience in quantitative analysis (internship or academic project) required - Excel, Python, SQL
- Experience with data tools such as Databricks, Tableau or other SQL-based software is a plus
- Exposure to applying data science in a business context is an asset
- Experience with Foundry would be a strong advantage

Contribute to P&C Finance Analytics projects
- Contribute to the team efforts to transform the Finance analytics to be consistent around the different needs of entities and the smart cycle to establish consistent framework, tools and deliverable for P&C finance analytics.
- Develop tools and dashboard based on Foundry, Databricks and your knowledge in SQL, Python (if any) for P&C Finance features and tools.
- Collaborate with business and finance stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver customized solutions.
- Develop solutions for data-driven business &finance insights and advanced analytics (possibly including machine learning) and support automatization initiatives in P&C Performance.
- Testing & Validation of data and features
- User feedback processes, improve tools and propose client-centric solution.
Collaboration with the Data Team
- Find the best possible solution in Foundry to develop and maintain own data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming large datasets.
- Optimize data storage in Databricks and retrieval mechanisms to ensure efficient access to relevant information.
- Work closely with Data teams to integrate data sources and ensure data quality.
- Design business requirements to help the Data Team to develop features in line with the performance framework
- Document foundation and data strategic choices
Support the P&C Performance Team in the Landing and Analytics process
- Support the P&C Performance Team in Landing Ad-hoc needs (IFRS 17 &Solvency II)
- Support the P&C Performance Team in the analysis of quarter close figures, prepare deliveries for quarterly analytics (including deliverables to top Management), analyze the business and discuss with key stakeholders to understand underwriting trends, finance decision or data particularities.
