About the role
The Engineering Intern performs duties related to study of mass and energy balances, creation of drawings, and assists with the coordination of engineering projects.
Responsibilities
1. Develop mass/energy balances
2. Draft 2-D layout drawings
3. Communication and coordination between engineering team and vendors and contractors
4. Redline P&IDs, review existing P&ID's
5. Support engineering team with project schedule development
6. Support engineering team with cost tracking
About you
**Junior level standing or higher in course work leading to a chemical or mechanical engineering degree from an accredited 4-year college or university
**Ability to perform assigned tasks and complete work with minimal supervision
**Eagerness to learn and accept challenges
**Able to handle multiple tasks
**Good communication skills
**Strongly proficient in Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of Excel including macros
We are looking for someone who can work part-time for two to three months between June and September 2026.
In return AAK offers
16 to 20 hours per week at $30.00 per hour.
