Job SummaryAre you interested in Mechanical Engineering in the buildings space? Introba is looking for an intern to join our Toronto, ON office for a 4- to 12-month placement.
As an intern you will assist engineers and engineering staff within a variety of project support roles. This co-op is your chance to be part of a collaborative community where you can expand your knowledge and sharpen your skills through hands-on meaningful work.Responsibilities & QualificationsWhat You Will Do

  • Assist in setting up Revit and AutoCAD drawing files, including digitizing, organizing, and refining working drawings.

  • Support HVAC, Fire Protection, and Plumbing drafting tasks based on mark-ups and guidance provided by the Team Leader and design staff.

  • Ensure all drawings comply with the Introba design checklist and established drawing standards.

  • Maintain and update Revit/AutoCAD files throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Collaborate with design staff to coordinate mechanical requirements with other building systems.

What You Bring to the Team (Competencies)

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to efficiently prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear documentation and interacting professionally with clients and colleagues

Your Education and Experience

  • Must be currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's in mechanical engineering degree from an accredited university program or college program such as Architectural Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Building Systems, or Construction Engineering Technology

  • Familiar with Revit and AutoCAD

  • Ability to think mechanically and/or mechanically inclined

  • Passion for mechanical building systems and sustainable design
