How you will contribute

Alvarez & Marsal Corporate Performance Improvement is seeking 2027 Summer Interns to work with members of project teams. The Summer Interns will be involved with helping clients solve complex problems by assessing the client's current situation, designing solutions involving people, process, and technology dimensions, and implementing change. Candidates must be highly motivated, eager to contribute and learn, be able to meet deadlines, and be adaptable to various assignments, systems, and tools. Some travel is possible.

CPI Summer Interns can expect to be a part of A&M's Advancing and Cultivating Emerging (ACE) Leaders program.  ACE is the early career destination program for Alvarez & Marsal CPI analysts and consultants. ACE provides a best-in-class experience for early career professionals through recruitment activities, robust development experiences, meaningful engagement with peers and senior leaders, and competitive compensation and benefits. ACE fosters the talents of our new hires and prepares them to be the next generation of leaders at A&M in one of A&M's solution or industry groups.

The summer intern program is a paid opportunity that lasts 8-10 weeks and typically begins in early June and ends in early/mid-August.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrable teaming skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and willingness to learn
  • Minimum 3.5 GPA required, both major and overall
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university
  • Preferred degrees/majors/course enrollment listed below:
    • Accounting

    • Economics

    • Finance
    • Management Information Systems
    • Operations/Supply Chain
    • Statistics / Mathematics
  • Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
  • Comfortable with travel up to 80% of your time
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without the need for employment-based sponsorship now or in the future.  A&M will not sponsor applicants for US work visa status for this role.
