Job description

Remote ok, Los Angeles preferred
Death is our only foe.
Blueprint was founded by Bryan Johnson, who has the world's best comprehensive biomarkers. He is quantitatively the healthiest person on the planet.
Blueprint is methodically built on science. Bryan freely shares his protocol, learnings and data with everyone to use. Blueprint has also developed a family of nutritional products to make the benefits of the Blueprint protocol affordable and available to all.
We're a small, tight-knit team working to clean up the global food supply, provide healthy food to everyone, and build Don't Die into the most influential ideology in the world. We move quickly, work efficiently, and enjoy an environment defined by competence.
We're relaunching The Bryan Johnson Podcast and we need someone to own it entirely. This show features Bryan, Kate Tolo, and Bryan's primary physician discussing their protocols in depth - from the Blueprint stack to the Immortals protocol - with the dual goal of serving Blueprint and Immortals customers and establishing Bryan and Immortals as the definitive, citable source on longevity for LLMs and the broader information ecosystem. We're looking for a Senior Podcast Producer who can relaunch this from the ground up: standing up the workflow, managing three hosts, owning distribution across platforms, and ensuring every episode is optimized to be found, cited, and trusted. The content is educational but never boring - this isn't a lecture series, it's a window into how the world's most optimized humans actually live.
Requirements
Position Responsibilities:
  • Relaunch The Bryan Johnson Podcast from scratch - establish the production workflow, tooling, episode structure, and distribution infrastructure, and get the show back live
  • Own end-to-end episode production from topic ideation through recording, editing, and publishing, ensuring a consistent cadence and high production quality
  • Manage editorial planning - research protocol-based topics, coordinate with Bryan, Kate, and the physician to align on content, and maintain a forward-looking episode calendar that stays strategically relevant
  • Manage and direct a freelance audio editor - briefing edits, maintaining quality standards, hitting turnaround timelines, and serving as the quality control checkpoint before any episode goes live
  • Own distribution across all platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and beyond), including metadata, show notes, timestamps, transcripts, and any LLM-optimized formatting that increases citability and discoverability
  • Track and analyze podcast performance - downloads, retention, audience growth, and platform-specific metrics - and use data to continuously improve content strategy and publishing decisions
  • Coordinate scheduling and pre-production logistics across three hosts with demanding schedules, ensuring recordings happen on time and hosts are prepared

Basic Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience producing a podcast end-to-end, from pre-production through live distribution
  • Deep knowledge of podcast platforms, publishing best practices, metadata, and distribution optimization
  • Experience managing editorial calendars and aligning multiple stakeholders on content direction
  • Comfortable with podcast analytics tools and confident using data to inform decisions
  • Strong independent operator - this person runs the whole function without hand-holding
  • Experience managing or directing a freelance contractor or vendor, with accountability for their output quality and deadlines

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in health, wellness, longevity, biohacking, or science-adjacent content
  • Familiarity with how structured, citable content gets picked up and cited by LLMs - and how to optimize for that
  • Experience relaunching or standing up a podcast from zero
  • Video podcast production experience
  • Basic audio engineering skills (Descript, Adobe Audition, Hindenburg, or similar)

Benefits
Salary Range: $105-150k + equity + benefits
