Your Role:

We're looking for a creative, proactive social-media intern to support content creation and growth strategy across our channels. You'll start with Instagram and Facebook, with room to expand into TikTok, Reddit, and beyond as you grow.The primary goal of this role is to grow our follower base; the secondary goal is to build a smooth journey from social media engagement to qualified leads. As a marketing intern, your responsibilities include:

Content Creation & Distribution (50%)

  • Create posts, carousel, and Reels for Instagram and Facebook
  • Use Canva, AI tools, and other platforms to produce high-quality visual/video content
  • Tailor content to each platform's format and audience
  • Support the paid media team with creative assets and A/B testing

Performance & Strategy (20%)

  • Track key metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, conversions)
  • Identify top-performing content patterns and formats
  • Summarize results and recommend improvements
  • Help with content planning, scheduling, and publishing

Community & User Engagement (20%)

  • Reply to direct messages, following brand voice guidelines and team oversight
  • Distribute content and engage with users in Facebook groups, subreddits, and other relevant communities

Trend Research (10%)

  • Monitor emerging trends, formats, and audience behavior across platforms
  • Share insights and creative ideas with the marketing team

Required Qualifications:

  • Genuine interest in social media, with solid knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Reddit
  • 6+ months' experience in social media content or a related field
  • Passion for K–12 education
  • Basic graphic design knowledge (e.g., layout, typography, visual branding)
  • Familiarity with Canva and AI content tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Canva AI features)
  • Basic understanding of social performance metrics and analytics
  • Strong writing, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Self-starter who can juggle multiple projects
  • Bilingual in Mandarin is required

Nice to Have:

  • Short-form video shooting or editing experience (Reels/TikTok)
  • Paid social or A/B testing experience
  • Familiarity with scheduling/analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Metricool)
