Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Required Educational Credentials
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
  • Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Alabama
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent in a specialty field
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to acquire within 90 days)
