About the Role

Venture Home is seeking a motivated and organized Permitting Department Intern to join our growing team in Stamford, CT. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys communicating with people, is comfortable using technology, and wants to gain hands-on experience in the construction and permitting process.

As a Permitting Intern, you'll play an important role in helping projects move forward by coordinating with local building departments, tracking permit applications, and ensuring information is communicated accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate regularly with municipal building departments by phone and email to obtain permit updates and information.

  • Monitor permit applications through various online municipal portals.

  • Track permit statuses and maintain accurate, organized records.

  • Coordinate with internal team members to relay updates and next steps.

  • Follow up on outstanding applications and requests in a timely manner.

  • Assist with administrative tasks related to permitting and project coordination.

  • Learn and navigate different municipal processes and software platforms.
