As an Operations Sales Specialist Intern, you will gain hands-on experience at the intersection of agronomy operations and customer-facing sales support. This role is designed for students who want a broader view of how production agriculture works-from day-to-day operations at the location level to supporting sales conversations and customer service.

You will be embedded at a Midwest Fertilizer location, working alongside operations and sales professionals to support farmer/owners and help deliver products and services that contribute to a safe, reliable food supply.

What You'll Learn & Experience
  • Exposure to agronomy operations, including fertilizer handling, plant operations, and safety practices
  • Support of sales and service activities, including customer interactions and product/service coordination
  • Understanding how agronomy recommendations, logistics, and customer relationships come together
  • Participation in location-based projects focused on customer service, safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement
  • Insight into how MKC serves its farmer/owners and end users across the agronomy value chain
