This opportunity will be based onsite at our fully integrated pulp and paper mill in Augusta, GA.
The Augusta mill sits along the Savannah River, on the state border between Georgia and South Carolina and manufactures light, medium, and heavy weight coated paperboard.

Working directly alongside our Department Managers, you'll help design, implement, and maintain the systems that drive our operational and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Master the Process: Partner directly with Clearwater Paper engineers to learn the end-to-end papermaking cycle-from raw materials to final distribution.

What you will need
To be successful in this position, we are looking for candidates with the following:
  • Majoring in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering or Industrial Hygiene with a 3.0+ overall GPA
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, leadership experience, and self-motivation
  • Industrial Environment - subject to extreme heat and cold
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn in the mill environment
  • Noisy, dusty, and working around moving equipment

Clearwater Paper will not offer sponsorship for employment-based visa status (including, but not limited to, H-1B visa status and other employment-based nonimmigrant visas) for this position. Accordingly, all applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require Clearwater Paper's sponsorship to continue to work legally in the United States.
