Why Intern At Freixenet Mionetto USA?

As an Marketing intern at Freixenet Mionetto USA, you'll dive into a hands-on experience, soak up knowledge from industry specialists, collaborate with our talented marketing team, and engage with various departments for a well-rounded, dynamic learning experience.


Internship Program Details:

  • We are seeking an intern who can start within the next few months.
  • This is a full-time, paid internship lasting 6 months.
  • This is a hybrid internship: Work onsite in our White Plains, NY office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
  • Work hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. (40 hours/week)


Position Summary

Intern will be assigned to Marketing Department. The primary responsibilities will include executing immersive brand experiences designed to drive awareness, engagement and trial in key markets. Additionally, the intern will assist with Social Media tasks across the brands as outlined below. This role will offer the intern the opportunity to gain exposure to and observe various roles within the marketing team including a deeper dive into diverse projects throughout the year.


What You’ll Do:


Event Activations & Local Market Takeover

  • Develop and execute experiential marketing programs, including pop-ups, sampling events and high-profile brand activations for power brands.
  • Identify key local market opportunities to drive trial and brand love through grassroots efforts, influencer partnerships and cultural moments.
  • Own the end-to-end event execution, from planning and logistics to on-the-ground activation and post-event analysis.


Budgeting & Performance Tracking

  • Oversee event budgets, ensuring cost-effective and high-impact activations.
  • Track and analyze event performance metrics, gathering insights to optimize future executions.
  • Provide post-event recaps, including key learnings and recommendations for improvement.


Social Media

  • Execute monthly content calendars for Korbel, Gloria Ferrer, Mionetto Canada and Henkell Canada, ensuring alignment with social media brand plan and key winery moments.
  • Support with Meta advertising dashboard for the above-mentioned brands, focusing on optimizing CPMs, CPC and followers’ growth.
  • Track and analyze ad performance, adjusting budgets to stay within budget.
  • Oversee engagement across social platforms of the above-mentioned brands, responding promptly and in alignment with brand voice/winery questions.
  • Manage and coordinate influencer and journalist visits, ensuring smooth and positive experiences.


Consumer Insights & Portfolio Strategy

  • Support the development of consumer personas by analyzing syndicated data sources such as YouGov and Numerator.
  • Assist in identifying emerging category trends, shopper behaviors, and consumption occasions relevant to the House of Brands strategy
  • Summarize findings into actionable insights to support Brand Learning plans, campaign development, and portfolio positioning.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales teams to align activations with retail priorities and key distribution partners.
  • Partner with brand, digital and PR teams to amplify events across social and media channels.
  • Manage external agencies, vendors and event partners to ensure seamless execution.


Internship Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a BA/BS degree or Masters in Marketing or a recent graduate.
  • Able to work onsite at our White Plains, NY office Monday through Thursday.
  • Can commit to a minimum of 6 months for the internship.
  • Legally able to consume alcoholic beverages in the state of NY.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive team player with a go-getter attitude.
  • Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
