Job Title: Hotel Night Auditor
Job Summary
The Hotel Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing front desk operations during the night shift, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing excellent guest service. This role combines customer service duties with accounting and auditing responsibilities to maintain smooth overnight hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform night audit procedures and reconcile daily financial transactions
  • Balance room revenue, cash, credit card payments, and other hotel accounts
  • Prepare and distribute daily financial and occupancy reports
  • Check guests in and out during overnight hours
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally
  • Monitor hotel security and ensure guest safety during the night shift
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and room assignments
  • Communicate important issues to management and morning staff
  • Maintain front desk cleanliness and organization
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality-related education preferred)
  • Previous front desk or accounting experience is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and auditing procedures
