The Semmes Murphey Clinic's mission is to deliver the best care for people suffering from neurological illness while advancing the field of neuroscience. 


We are expanding our marketing team. In this role, you will lead the implementation and enforcement of brand standards across all public-facing marketing materials. You will collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager to define and maintain our guidelines for visual identity, messaging, tone, and other content quality across social media, our website, various digital platforms, and marketing materials. This is a full-time, onsite position. 


Key Responsibilities Include: 

  • Define guidelines for tone, voice, visual identity, and messaging across all marketing materials 
  • Develop and maintain branded templates for social media, blog graphics, email marketing, flyers, postcards, signage, and merchandise 
  • Lead quality control to ensure all public-facing marketing materials meet established brand standards 
  • Provide brand guidance and template direction for the execution of day-to-day marketing materials 
  • Design digital and print advertising materials in alignment with campaign strategy 
  • Review and approve website updates for brand consistency prior to publication 
  • Define platform-specific brand standards for social media marketing materials 
  • Maintain organized systems for brand assets, templates, photography, and videography 
  • Own production of marketing materials, including print coordination, vendor management, merchandise development, and signage implementation 
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on brand governance, marketing priorities, and marketing analytics insights 
  • Recommend updates and improvements to brand guidelines based on performance, usability, and organizational needs 


Requirements

Minimum Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or related field 
  • Five (5) years' experience in graphic design, branding, or visual communications 
  • Familiarity with managing photoshoots and coordinating with creative vendors  
  • Experience in Canva Pro, Google Slides, and asset storage platforms (Dropbox, Google Drive)  

Preferred

  • Experience with Video Editing in Adobe Premiere Pro or similar and basic motion graphics (After Effects, Canva animations)  
  • Marketing experience specific to the healthcare industry  

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet applications  
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)  
  • Can execute creative projects independently with a strong understanding of design principles (layout, color theory, typography, branding, etc.)  
  • Understands brand management and maintaining visual consistency across all material or content  
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA and various healthcare marketing regulations  
  • Strong understanding of file setup for both digital and print production  
  • Familiar with best practices across digital marketing including social media, email marketing, and web design  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to tactfully interact with all levels of the organization, particularly when collaborating with non-design stakeholders  
  • Will maintain a polished and professional presence  
  • Can manage various responsibilities with multiple deadlines and competing demands   
  • Reliable transportation to and from various locations throughout the metro area during the workday
