Key ResponsibilitiesBoard-Level Design Support
  • Assist with schematic capture, component selection, and design reviews for next-generation compute and GPU server boards under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Support PCB layout reviews and help ensure adherence to design guidelines and best practices.
  • Learn and apply board-level design methodologies for high-performance server systems.
Board Bring-Up & Validation
  • Participate in board bring-up activities during development cycles.
  • Execute validation and qualification test plans throughout EVT, DVT, and PVT phases.
  • Collect, document, and analyze bench test data to support engineering decisions.
Documentation & Configuration Management
  • Maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), schematics, engineering change orders, and design documentation.
  • Ensure documentation accuracy and proper revision control throughout product development.
  • Support release-to-manufacturing activities and engineering documentation updates.
Debug & Root Cause Analysis
  • Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware issues at the board and system level.
  • Support root-cause analysis efforts and track corrective actions through closure.
  • Utilize laboratory equipment to validate designs and verify hardware functionality.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with SI/PI, thermal, power, layout, manufacturing, and validation engineering teams.
  • Participate in design reviews and learn industry best practices for server hardware development.
  • Support engineering activities throughout the product lifecycle from concept through production.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • 1-4 years of hardware design, board design, validation, internship, or co-op experience.
  • Fundamental understanding of digital and analog circuit design principles.
  • Experience with schematic capture tools and exposure to PCB layout processes.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), logic analyzers, and power supplies.
  • Understanding of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, DDR memory, or related technologies.
  • Knowledge of power delivery fundamentals and basic signal integrity concepts.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and willingness to learn in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on server, storage, AI, GPU, or data center hardware platforms.
  • Familiarity with Intel and/or AMD server architectures.
  • Exposure to high-speed digital design methodologies.
  • Experience supporting EVT, DVT, and PVT product development phases.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and product qualification activities.
  • Experience using design and simulation tools common within hardware development environments.
  • Internship or project experience involving hardware validation and debug.

Work Environment

This position operates in a hybrid office and laboratory environment. The role requires hands-on interaction with development hardware, test equipment, and engineering prototypes.
