About the Role & Program

At Walt Disney World, we create magic every day, and as an intern on the Park Yield Optimization team, you will play a role in the development and execution of yield management strategies for our four Walt Disney World theme parks. As part of the Revenue Planning & Optimization organization, our mission is to drive efficient, predictable results through innovative yield strategies. We work directly with key decision-makers who help shape the Walt Disney World Guest experience.

Candidates should have a natural curiosity to understand the "why" behind business performance, take a proactive role in problem-solving, be results oriented, able to prioritize, and beastandout colleague in a collaborative environment.

This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from January 2027 through June 2027.

What You Will Do

As aParkYield Optimization Intern, you will be part of an analytically driven and operationally engaged team that helps bring remarkable experiences, unparalleled services, and innovative products to life across our Theme Park Admissions andIn-Park Events & Activationsteam!

  • Perform strategic analysis of in-park events todriveprofitabilitywhilebalancing experiencepriorities

  • Support inventory management strategy forhard-ticket events

  • Translate business questions into actionable plans for analysis includingdemonstratingconceptual, statistical, and financial techniques

  • Leverage andimproveupondata visualizationstoenabletimelyandmeaningfuldecisions

  • Articulate clear,accurateinsights and value propositions of proposed solutions to business opportunities

  • Build strong presentations that show context to analysis and link to actionable recommendations

  • Learn from and collaborate withotherdedicated analytical professionals

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Ability to query data with SQL

  • StrongfamiliaritywithMicrosoft Excel

  • Experiencecreatingdata visualizationsusing Tableau,PowerBI, or similar

  • Attention to detail

  • Natural curiosityand problem-solving skills

  • Responsibilityandindependence; pride in delivery quality results

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience with a programming language (Python, R, etc.)

  • Familiarity withbusinessor programmingapplicationsof AI, beyond LLMs

Education
  • Junior or Senior year preferred

  • Major orpreviouscoursework inData Analytics,Industrial Engineering, Economics, Finance, Hospitality Management, or relatedmajor

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meetall ofthe below requirements:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currentlyparticipatingin a Disney College Program or Disney Internship

  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Possess unrestricted work authorization

  • This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from January 2027 through June 2027.

  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship

  • Fully available Monday through Friday for the duration of the internship,40 hourseach week

  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, FL area

  • Able toprovide/havereliable transportation to/from work
