Position Overview
Eridu is looking for a hands-on and motivated Lab Intern to support our engineering lab operations. This role will work closely with the engineering team to maintain lab infrastructure, install and bring up equipment, and support hardware and networking activities.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with hardware, troubleshooting issues, and is comfortable with hands-on lab work in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Responsibilities
  • Help maintain and implement lab infrastructure and equipment.
  • Install and bring up lab equipment, switches, and network connectivity.
  • Assemble and install Eridu systems and third-party hardware accessories.
  • Support hardware setup, troubleshooting, and basic debugging activities.
  • Assist with power, cabling, and network setup within the lab environment.
  • Configure switches and support basic Layer 2/LAN networking tasks.
  • Maintain lab organization, equipment inventory, and documentation.
  • Work closely with engineers on day-to-day lab activities and hardware projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Networking, or a related technical field.
  • Basic understanding of networking fundamentals, including switches, LAN, and Layer 2 concepts.
  • Experience working in a lab environment through school projects, internships, or previous work experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable working with hardware, assembling equipment, and using basic hand tools.
  • Familiarity with lab infrastructure, power systems, and network connectivity is a plus.
  • Strong willingness to learn and take on hands-on tasks.
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on environment where some tasks may involve physical setup and installation.
