Purpose

We are seeking anย Intermediate Java Developerย to join our agile development team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of backend services. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience withย Java and Spring Boot, working knowledge ofย Kafka, and solid skills withย relational databases. You will work closely with senior developers, QA, and product teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications usingย Java and Spring Boot
  • Implement and supportย Kafka-based messaging and event-driven integrations
  • Work withย relational databases, including schema design, queries, and performance optimization
  • Build and consumeย RESTful APIs
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver features and improvements
  • Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for clean, maintainable code
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application bugs and performance issues
  • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
  • Actively participate inย Agile/Scrum ceremoniesย (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of professional experienceย in Java application development
  • Strong working knowledge ofย Java (8+) and Spring Boot
  • Experience withย Apache Kafkaย (producing and consuming messages, basic event-driven workflows)
  • Solid understanding ofย relational databasesย (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
  • Proficiency in SQL and database querying
  • Experience with REST APIs and backend service development
  • Familiarity with Git and standard build tools such as Maven or Gradle
  • Experience working effectively in a collaborative Agile team environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
