Job Summary:
Adyen is a financial technology platform providing payments, data, and financial products for clients like Meta and Uber. The Senior Software Engineer will be part of the Banking Network team, responsible for building and optimizing the North American infrastructure for money movement, ensuring fault-tolerance and observability while handling massive transaction volumes.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Work on complex technical projects from requirements analysis through design, implementation, testing and launch into production.
โ€ข Bring your own point of view on best engineering practices.
โ€ข Be hands-on and contribute to the implementation.
โ€ข Identify and improve parts of the platform to make it more robust and scalable.
โ€ข Your code will be used at scale and you are expected to think in that mindset when building features.
โ€ข We launch fast and iterate often. Concretely, this means that within your first few weeks, you will bring live functionalities that impact many merchants and shoppers.
โ€ข Build APIs and tooling according to quality principles such as performance and code quality.
