Job description


Looking for an experienced Community Relations Analyst for our client in NYC!
(Temporary, 6 month contract, Full-Time hours)
The Community Relations Analyst will support corporate social impact initiatives across the U.S., reporting to the Executive Director, Community Relations. This temporary role will focus on employee engagement, volunteer programming, grants administration, nonprofit due diligence, communications, and activity tracking and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Engagement
  • Support planning and execution of volunteer events, donation drives, and signature engagement campaigns (e.g., global day of service, seasonal initiatives).
  • Coordinate with employees, managers, and nonprofit partners; develop related communications.
  • Manage volunteer opportunities and participation tracking in the employee engagement platform.
  • Oversee the cultural benefits program, including partner relationships, employee inquiries, and intranet updates.
  • Conduct nonprofit due diligence for volunteer and philanthropic initiatives.
  • Draft and distribute departmental communications (email, intranet, signage, social media).
  • Monitor team inboxes and respond to employee inquiries.

Philanthropy
  • Administer employee matching gifts, volunteer grants, and corporate contributions.
  • Process grant applications, generate reports, and coordinate with employees, nonprofits, and vendors.

Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with employee engagement, matching gift programs, corporate giving, volunteer programs, or event management preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams); advanced skills a plus.
  • Experience with CSR or grantmaking platforms (e.g., YourCause, Blackbaud) preferred.
  • Demonstrated interest in corporate social impact and nonprofit organizations.
