We are hiring asap for Full-time intern who has the ability to stay on in a part-time capacity in the Fall.
Reporting to the Manager, Retail, Rebates & Agency, this internship provides hands-on experience in accounting. The intern will help support rebate accounting activities by preparing reconciliations, assisting with month-end processes, researching variances, tracking cash receipts, and evaluation of reporting for North America.
What You'll Do:
  • Assist with month-end journal entries and rebate accounting activities
  • Prepare and review account reconciliations for balance sheet and P&L accounts
  • Track and allocate rebates received during the year to ensure proper accounting treatment
  • Work with Strategic Supply Managers on inventory protection programs allocating terms to locations carrying applicable inventory as well as working capital adjustments as needed
  • Research and help resolve discrepancies on monthly reporting
  • Support special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned

Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this role, in Loveland, CO, is between $16.76 - $26.27. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
We provide an attractive benefits package that includes catastrophic coverages including life, accidental death and dismemberment, and business travel accident insurance for a position of at least three months in duration and more than 30 hours per week. Our benefit package also demonstrates our culture of care with paid sick days and holidays as well as an Employee and Family Assistance Program. A Student or Intern role does not participate in any retirement savings or incentive programs. Nutrien will comply with benefit and retirement regulations, as necessary. Details of the benefits package will be shared in the application process.
