The Category Operations Project Intern role is responsible for supporting the scaling of the category through leading cross-function initiatives, and driving topline revenue growth for TikTok's US Commerce business. As a Project Intern, you will contribute to impactful short-term projects and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. This internship offers the opportunity to develop practical skills, apply your knowledge to real-world challenges, and explore your career interests. Responsibilities - Support the planning, coordination, and on-site execution of tradeshows, platform summits, creator events - Assist in developing event briefs, run-of-show documents, and post-event recaps - Coordinate with internal stakeholders, agencies, TSP partners, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time and on brand - Help manage event timelines, deliverable tracking, and logistics across multiple simultaneous activations - Support creator, seller, and partner communications around event attendance and participation - Assist in creating social-first content, including copywriting, short-form videos, graphics, and campaign assets - Conduct research on industry events, competitor activations, and emerging trends in experiential and creator marketing
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science or a related field - Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Strong written and verbal communication skills with great attention to detail - Comfortable working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and external partners - Proven ability to problem-solve and stay composed when priorities shift quickly - Proven skills in data processing tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or similar). - Basic design skills with proficiency in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, or similar tools- ability to produce simple but polished event materials, decks, and visual assets Preferred Qualifications: - Previous experience supporting event production, brand activations, tradeshows, or experiential marketing - Familiarity with TikTok Shop, shoppable content, and the creator-seller ecosystem - Strong understanding of social trends, storytelling, and audience engagement - Strong creative eye with an understanding of brand-consistent design - Self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment and is eager to take ownership By submitting an application for this role, you accept and agree to our global applicant privacy policy, which may be accessed here: https://careers.tiktok.com/legal/privacy

[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $23.75- $23.75.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
